Local Landscape Designer Featured in Prominent U.S. Magazine
Hockley Valley garden designer David Warburton received some exciting news recently when Country Living, a venerable U.S. based magazine with world wide circulation, announced it would be running a 6-page feature article on David’s home garden in their April 2007 issue.
The Country Living article features the photography of Guelph photographer Robin Stubbert, a well-known magazine photographer whose work has been seen on the covers of Country Living, Style at Home, Woman’s Day, Country Sampler, Country Living Gardener and Decorating Ideas.
The news of this feature article in Country Living tops off a banner year for David’s landscape design company, Plantsmen, which has been showcased on the covers of two national magazines: Gardening Life and Canadian House & Home.
This year will also see David launching two new companies. Hockley Organics is a timely and comprehensive supplier of organic fertilizers, pest control and household cleaning products. Nottawasaga Trading Company will be a purveyor of hand-made pocket belt knives, fine pens, watches, cowboy shirts and native trade blankets; as David describes it, “a guy’s paradise”. Both these companies, along with David’s New School of Gardening, showcase David’s passion for all things natural and organic, and reaffirm his commitment to bringing this passion to his work and his customers.
